University of Twente Scholarship 2025

The University of Twente founded in 1961 as Twente Technological University of Applied Sciences is a higher institution in the Netherlands. UT as it is popularly called is known for its focus on technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. The university promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, where students can take courses from other programs and work on projects with students from different backgrounds.

University of Twente Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for excellent international students to undertake masters studies. There are about 50 scholarships available with a value of € 3,000 to € 22,000 for one academic year. However, students can receive an additional UTS to cover the expenses of the second year.

Tuition Fees

If you are an international student looking to study at the University of Twente, bear in mind that the tuition fee per year for undergraduate programmes range from 8166 EUR to 11,834 EUR. However, for graduate students, the tuition fee ranges from 12,750 EUR to 16,500 EUR.

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the requirements candidates must fulfill to be eligible for the scholarship.

• Applicants must comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the sub-score of speaking skills.
• Applicant must have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs starting in the next academic year (September).
• Applicant must have a student number.
• Candidate should not have graduated from a UT (under)graduate program;
• Candidate must comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable);

Scholarship Benefits

The University of Twente Scholarship provides the recipient with € 3,000 to € 22,000 for one year. In the case of a two-year study program, students can receive an additional UTS of an amount equal to that in the first year to cover the expenses of the second year. However, the scholarship will only be renewed in the second year when the student has;

An average grade of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the third quartile of the first year

At least 50% of European Credits at the end of the third quartile of the first year
